Financing the energy transition.

Bridging the gap for new energy technologies.

I'm Oliver Booth. I spent the first part of my career asking if this technology or market works. Now, I'm interested in the next question: who pays to build the first one, and what has to be true to build the tenth.

About me

I'm an energy and climate analyst transitioning into energy investing. I spent three years at Sightline Climate building its research function and leading fuels and chemicals coverage. Right now I'm doing an MBA to build the financial modelling, project finance, and coding skills to put that domain knowledge into practice on the investment side.

I studied PPE at Oxford and hold an MS in Energy and Sustainability from Northwestern. Outside of that: travel, museums, and the occasional needlessly detailed side project (this site is one of them).
